OUR MISSION & BELIEFS

Our Mission

Our mission is not innovative. It is first and foremost to be a “Great Commission” church (Matt 28:18-20) in Anne Arundel County and more specifically to the Broadneck Peninsula. There are three major aspects to our mission: how we relate to God, how we relate to one another in the church, and how we relate to the neighborhood in which we live. In a summary way, we state our mission like this: CrossPointe Church is a people who bring God glory through worshipful lives, connected community, and by bringing gospel hope to our neighbors.

We display God’s glory by being a church that worships together.

This includes our Sunday morning services (10am @ 365 Jones Station Road, Arnold, MD 21012) and our midweek meetings as a church. Worship takes place as we interact with God through preaching, praying, singing, partaking in the sacraments, and stewarding the gifts we have been given.

We display God’s glory by being a church that is in committed community together.

Community life is important to us. We strive to live out authentic relationships in which we celebrate and apply the gospel together. This finds primary expression through small group meetings called Care Groups (more information), through serving together, through children’s and young adult ministry, and many other forms of fellowship. We encourage you to get to know us by visiting one of our Care Groups from the link above!

We display God’s glory by being a church that proclaims hope together.

The gospel that saved us is not meant to be hidden but to be proclaimed. Specifically, we are called to take ownership of making the gospel known in our neighborhood. We do this through a variety of events including Financial Peace®, marriage and parenting seminars, community events, men’s and women’s meetings, among other types of outreach. Our future plan is to plant other local churches in various Anne Arundel County neighborhoods so that the hope of Jesus Christ may be known in our area.

At CPC, we are committed to being a people who faithfully glorify God. We have been given hope, and we want others to know the same hope we have. This is why we say that CrossPointe Church is a place where Christ’s love changes lives!

Our Beliefs

We are united with a family of churches called Sovereign Grace. We have a common understanding of what churches are called to be, and we share values. As such, we are willingly bound together in partnership for the spread of the gospel of Jesus.
